Oh yeah. Sorry. LOL My site is 360-based so I tend to forget about PS3 sometimes. ;)

That was the most half-assed apology I've ever heard.

It just tarnishes her credibility even more. She has completely admitted here that the full extent of her pre-initerview research was 3rd hand gossip - still from someone who had never even played the game.

What an idiot.

This is a wake up call for journalists everywhere. Don't mess with gamers! :)

Too much time on his hands is right. I don't know where people find the time to do this stuff!

Pretry cool tho.

The funniest PC case mod I ever saw was a real taxidermied beaver, hollowed out & PC innards put in! LOL

You can see that one here: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/...

GDC is not for gamers. E3 is no longer for gamers (industry, invite-only event).

This is timely, becuase PAX '08 registration is set to open before the end of the month & PAX is a better option for GAMERS (not devs or publishers).

"cosplay is dressing up like a video game character, while reading the latest Nintendo Power."

Really? I didn't know that cosplay involved reading 'Nintendo Power'. Can I still cosplay if I dont' have a copy handy? ;)

I fully agree with this move. If the main reason is to improve download speeds for PAYING customers, then I'm all for it.

You & the poster above you are crazy. There is absolutely nothing that makes PS3 online any better than Live in this regard.

I'd love to know where you get the idea that PS3 users are 'more mature'? That has not been my experience at all.

The PS3 has zero tools to 'filter' this type of behavior (which is why virtually every online game today for EVERY platform carries the rider "experience may change during online play" - which absolves the game m...

"one thing that PSN has over Xbox Live is the community that use it."

"On the Playstation Network, however, a more mature community tends to use it, as the PS3 is more expensive, and parents are less likely to buy their 'little darlings' the most expensive console."

LOL!!! LOL!!! LOL!!!

You've GOT to be kidding? A 'more mature' community uses the PS3 as opposed to the 360? Sorry, but wrong. DEAD wrong.

I've...

I agree. I just wanted to explore the two issues of 'fear' and 'true nature' as underlying causes.

3 short paragraphs is FAR too short to be called a 'review' in my opinion. More like a brief (VERY brief) summary.

6663d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

3 Paragraphs & no real score passes for a 'review' these days? Wow. Lame.

I think you're just trying to drive traffic to the Drake's banner ad you have right under your so-called review.

LOL. Did you even read the article? I doubt it, becuase that's exactly the point of the article. Nowhere does it say that gaming promotes/cuases racism and homophobic hate. In fact, the 2nd MAIN point in the article says that the anonymity afforded by gaming online just lets out what's already there (i.e. 'tru nature').

Next time READ the article you're commenting on before you post!

I agree completely, Boink. 3rd party devs are in the business to make money. If developing a PS3 game costs them twice to three times as much as developing a 360 or Wii title, then the choice of where to invest their time/money becomes obvious.

The PS3 may have a powerful CPU, but Sony did not prepare the devs for the difficulties of programming for it - nor do anything to alleviate the cost of developing for it.

This is why the PS3 is struggling a bit & ...

Uh...I never stated otherwise! You & others who keep saying that are reading INTO things too much.

To those who keep saying: "people have every right to be mad when their electronic devices fail due to bad design".

Let me just say that I agree. However, when EVERY single person who has a system problem makes a new thread (or in many cases multiple threads) about it, it gets a bit tiresome & puts a downturn in the overall mood of the whole forum.

The point of GROL is NOT to disparage those who have been unfortunate enough to experience the RROD; ...

I've had my 360 since launch day and have never had the red ring. I know many others who can all say the same. (And no, I don't work for MS. Where's my ten bucks? LOL)

I'm not saying those with the RROD should be happy about it, but must EVERY person who gets it start a new forum thread about it?

Indeed! I run a Denon Receiver and SVS Speakers w/ a 12" 325 Watt Sub. When I crank up the volume, my wife always fears I'm gonna bust a window or put a crack in the plaster! LOL

They have a 5.1 system w/ similar specs for $899. ;)

I read both articles. You are quite clearly biased towards the Xbox 360 & have a great personal preference for the PS3. Your arguments are based entirely on your own assumptions - fueled by Sony's PR machine.

Don't be a fanboy.
